Saline, Michigan: Now This Is Living

Saline was ranked the 42nd best place to live out of 1,300 rated cities in the United States in a 2005 CNN/Money Magazine poll, and 59th in the 2007 poll.

Saline was ranked as one of CNN/Money’s list of best places to retire.

Brecon, Wales is the sister city of Saline.Lindenberg, Germany is also a sister city of Saline.

Each year, Saline attracts thousands from all over the United States for its Celtic Festival.

The city’s population is approximately 9,450.

The median income for a household in the city was $59,382, and the median income for a family was $73,162.

Saline is the only the small City in the United States to be named  three consective times as one of the best Cities to live in according to CNN Money Magazine, 2005, 2007 and again in 2009. Small cities are rated every other year.
