Rec Center, 1866 Woodland Dr., Saline, MI 48176   734.429.3502   http://www.cityofsaline.org/parks

MERMAIDS & MATEYS Adventures on (and under) the High Seas Friday, March 27, 6-8pm Once upon a time in a faraway kingdom two mermaids named Arella and Aldri were out swimming when a storm blew them far from home and they landed in a pool in the village of Saline. The locals were friendly pirates and mermaid lovers. The pirates built boats at home big enough to sit in made of nothing but cardboard and duct tape. They hopped in the boats and paddled across the pool to see if they could catch a glimpse of the mermaids swimming below. They also had a huge inflatable pirate ship that was so fun to play on. The villagers donned their own mermaid tails so they could swim like the mermaids did. There was pirate treasure, snacks, games and lots of family fun. Suddenly… Want to know what happens next? See you on March 27! This is a family event and adults are expected to be in the pool so everyone must pay. Children 2 and younger are free. Children 6 and younger must have an adult in the water with them at all times. Fee: Friday, 3/27 6-8 pm $12 Attractions, Family, Kids, Parks, Recreation
